On Wednesday 6 February a temporary exhibition about the study of Ancient Egyptian texts opens in the Upper Library at Queen's, including archival images from the Griffith Institute. There will be a reception and a talk by Clare Lewis (UCL) on ‘Endowment, Enterprise and Emendation: The History of Egyptology at Queen’s’. All are welcome to attend; more details can be found here.
A new permanent display of Egyptian inscriptions and artefacts has also been installed in the Peet Library.
