New Grant Support for Final-Year DPhil Students Working on Japan

The Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies is pleased to announce a new funding scheme supported by the University of Oxford’s Sasakawa Fund. The scheme offers grants to DPhil students in the final stages of their doctoral studies, whose research has a significant focus on Japan.

These grants are designed to support students during the final write-up period of their thesis. Applications are welcome from candidates working within the humanities, as well as the social, physical, or medical sciences, provided that Japan forms a major component of the research.
