Cheng Hao

Biography:

Cheng Hao, born in 1989, from China, is a tenured associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the Research and Conservation Center for Unearthed Texts, Tsinghua University, currently serving as Assistant Director of the Center. He also serves as Council Member of the Chinese Society of Pre-Qin History. His main research areas are excavated texts and the history and culture of the Pre-Qin period. 

From March 2007 to July 2010, he studied at the Department of History, Shanghai University, majoring in History, and obtained a bachelor's degree in History. From September 2010 to July 2012, he pursued a master's degree in Ancient Chinese History (with a focus on Pre-Qin History) at the Department of History, Shanghai University, under the supervision of Professor Ning Zhenjiang, and obtained a master's degree in History. From September 2012 to July 2015, he studied at the Department of History, Tsinghua University, majoring in Historical Textology (with a focus on Excavated Texts), under the supervision of Professor Li Xueqin, and obtained a Ph.D. in History.
