Biography:
Prof. Young-Joo Jeon is a Professor of English Education at Mokwon University, South Korea. She currently serves as the President of the AI Convergence Education Society (AICES) and the Vice-president of the Korea Contents Association (KoCon). She previously served as the Dean of the Teachers College at Mokwon University and as the President of the Korea English Education Society (KEES).
Over her academic career, Prof. Jeon has authored and co-authored more than 60 scholarly works, including national high school English textbooks, book chapters, and articles in SCIE- and KCI-indexed journals. Her research spans AI-assisted English education, teacher professional development, competency-based curriculum design, and student mental health and well-being. She has led numerous government-funded projects, including large-scale initiatives supported by the Academy of Medical Sciences (UK) and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
As an international scholar and educational leader, she actively collaborates with global partners to promote innovation in English language education and to support teacher autonomy in the age of digital transformation.
